The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

Hearing Test

   Finds documents containing the words 'Hearing' or 'Test'

 

Hearing or Test

   Same as above

 

Hearing and Test

   Finds documents containing both words 'Hearing' and 'Test'

 

Hearing not Test

   Finds documents containing 'Hearing' but not 'Test'

 

(Hearing not Test) and Loss

   Finds documents containing 'Loss', plus 'Hearing' but not 'Test'

 

Hear*

   Finds documents containing words starting with 'Hear'
